I was thrilled at the idea that kids could be exposed to Edgar Allan Poe in such a positive way. Besides the fact that the lesions and morals taught by the plot were portrayed very well, I get the idea that kids will have a more open mind to a wider variety of literature, as dark or light as some of it may be.
